Welcome to 2023 and Bramley Cricket Club!

Bramley Cricket Club can trace its roots to the first women's game of cricket back in 1794 when the eleven maidens of Bramley took on eleven maidens of Hambledon. There has been cricket in one form or another on Gosden Common pretty much since that date.

We are a club who are actively looking for new recruits to help us in our push to victory. We field six weekly teams - Two Saturday league teams (I'Anson Cup Competitions), a Sunday friendly side, a mid-week cup team, Under 12's & Under 10's (Surrey development league) and a U12's girls friendly team.
Our growing colts section hold training every Sunday from April-September from 10am until 11:30 in addition to selected Friday evenings. Unlike other clubs in the area, we run throughout the Summer. We now have 4 ECB level 2 coaches and a squad of qualified helpers, so if your youngsters fancy it why don’t you bring them down for a free trial?

Our goal is to be competitive, but not to take away the fun of cricket. There is nothing better than a game on a sunny afternoon looking over a beautiful village green, followed by a few refreshing ales in the local with like-minded pals, watching the sun go down and reliving great (or not so great) cricketing moments and (hopefully) a close fought victory!

We are actively recruiting cricketers, young and old, of any ability to join our club. We are investigating the possibility of fielding a women's team in the near future and would love to hear from any ladies who might be interested.
